One.Be was a humble creative space based in Fawkner, nestled away behind a strewn yard of granite and gravestones. Our amazing space is a one stop shop for all audio and video production and is an encouraging enabler for all creators and lovers of music. It’s now out on the street front in Coburg North at the Graveyard (942 Sydney Road). With 5 rooms including a large live room with a modular state, state of the art modern gig viable recording desks and gearing up to host many fantastic musical events for our community to perform at.

Here at One.Be, we are focused on cultivating a community for our artists and visitors alike; a safe place to share ideas, riffs and good conversation.

One.Be was built with blood, sweat and tears by owners Dave Warner and with a little help from some dear friends, we officially opened our doors in August 12th of 2014.

We are the home of some of Melbourne’s best bands and artists who praise the sound of our rehearsal and recording rooms. With just 2 dedicated rehearsal rooms, a recording suite and a large multi purpose room, what One.Be lacked in size, it surely makes up in character and diversity. And now we’ve expanded our main site our new location in 942 Sydney Road Coburg North at The Graveyard (more on this below).

Over the past 8 years, owner Dave Warner, has focused heavily on growing the business and the community around it organically. Strategically relying on word of mouth and our solid base of community, we have been able to cultivate a supportive and amazingly creative environment.

In the last few years the team has expanded to include directly Christian who is your point of contact dog body to look after whatever you need as well as a few other people involved around the scenes here that you’ll get to know.

We strive to create a comfortable space for Melbourne’s bands and artists to experience growth, leading us towards our loyal and committed musical community.

At One.Be we pride ourselves on leading, engaging, inspiring, and developing the artists that we work with.

We believe it is our responsibility to help connect our artists together to create a community where each artist feels that they are supported by not only One.Be, but their peers.

Over the last 8 years we have seen our bands and artists grow quickly. Out of this growth, it has become a clear need to support our artists in taking the next steps toward both national and international audiences.

In 2020, we launched our artist management agency and our record label. One.Be Agency and Headstone Records is a supportive platform in which we give our artists the tools and resources to help boost them to new heights.

We are now a full service proposition and building our musical community is and will remain our top priority. We are so proud to support our amazing bands and artists on their journey; whether venturing through the earliest stages  or those who are already verging on the beyond.

Through the back end of 2021 into 2022 we built a larger space in Coburg North as part of a grander vision for the site in Fawkner. So we’ve moved to 942 Sydney Road at a new hub we’re creating called The Graveyard. We now have 5 rooms including a much larger and amazing sound live room (where we will also be hosting events and shows). The new site has a lot amazing things coming (like a bar).

We’ve making sure that the environment stays the most welcoming in Melbourne just with better amenities and site access now. The recording space is now dedicated entirely to continuing to provide a space, equipment and team to make world class music.
